The Role

We are looking for a high-energy QA engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assuring delivery of high quality fintech products with an opportunity to learn from senior members. Reporting to Engineering Manager, this role is very important at Machnet. We provide the flexibility to work from home or collaborate at our office location. Requirements
  • 1-2 year experience in software quality assurance.
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing
  • Knowledge of SDLC and STLC
  • Tools: Postman, Jmeter, SoapUI, Burp Suite,JIRA, X-Ray, Confluence, SQLyog, Katalon studio, SSH client
  • Basic understanding: Cypress, HTML, CSS, PHP
  • Good in written and verbal communication skill
  • Good conceptual and analytical skill

What are we looking for?
  • Prepare test plan, strategy and test cases, perform full-scale testing of the product based on the test cases and implement best practices to maintain quality of the product and codes.
  • Coordinate with client and team members to properly understand the requirements and build test plans accordingly.
  • Ensure timely completion of tests and proper communication of roadblocks and challenges when testing a product.
  • Ensure that releases are properly tracked and maintained through release notes.
  • Maintain a tracking mechanism for any bugs and complaints on the system including root cause and resolution action.
  • Create and maintain technical documentations.
  • Share knowledge within the team and across teams on findings for testing.
  • Automate deployments, integrate CI and perform manual deployments when needed.
  • Follow company's policies, processes and working culture and ethics.
  • Communicate new ideas, issues, status and outcomes with the team as necessary.
  • Continuous research and learning; discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development testing efficiency.
  • Perform all tasks as assigned by supervisors.
